Professor Emeritus Ariel Merari is a world-renowned expert in the psychology of terrorism. He has previously taught at UC Berkeley and Harvard University’s PON and specialized in negotiations with terrorists. He has served as a consultant to the U.S. Department of Defense and the Argentine government and led Israel’s Military Negotiation Task Force for Hostage Recovery for 25 years.
